After your logo, business cards are probably the second thing most customers will notice... if you happen have one on you. A business card that stands out has the potential to make an impactful first impression that might just win you some much needed business.

Jefferson Door has been around since 1959. That's a pretty long time. So long in fact, that it was time for an upgraded identity package. They came to Design the Planet hoping for a traditional, yet modern look. This is their business card solution.
Stationary package to follow. Stay tuned.

Shawn Eib is a pretty hip dude, and he wanted a card he'd be proud to give out to rock bands and hipsters nationwide. These two color cards don't at all look it.
Sounds Like... Audio has gotten a few gigs with these cards in hand. Go Shawn.

Pugtopia is a concept pet store devoted to "everything pug". Screened in the background is their slogan "Because your pug is the very best!" It adds a bit of texture to the normally boring tan card stock.

These guys get some pretty big names through their doors. Having some boring card wasn't going to cut it. With a budget for only two colors, I managed to get the feel of several more colors by screening the two colors over throughout, adding a bit of texture and a break in monotony.

The Louisiana Design Collaborative is a concept for an urban renewal landscape architecture firm, specializing in the renewal of urban environments. Even though the LADC does mostly urban landscapes, I thought it was important to portray their "green" side. Future prints of this card will be printed on brown recycled paper with orange ink.
"Very effective."

KJB is a Louisiana based criminal research firm that needed a facelift. They wanted some clean, tough, business cards that would make the stand out from their competitors. Printed on thick glossy gray stock, these cards really do stand out.
A card any man would be proud of.
