about the project
The design for Delfeayo Marsalis’s CD “Sweet Thunder” is a throwback to classic style as the musician’s inspiration for the CD was found in William Shakespeare and Duke Ellington. The classic throwback is represented by the vintage textures and type treatments as well as Duke Ellington’s handwritten score and earthy jewel tones.
